Lonely Planet Pathfinders Travel Blog of the Year submissions

Calling all travel bloggers! Enter our Pathfinders competition.

At Lonely Planet we’ve always been inspired by our community’s tales from the road. That’s why we created Pathfinders – a way of inviting talented bloggers, photographers, videographers and social media wizards to join our ever-expanding network of travel experts.

Blogs and social media are playing an increasing role in the travel planning process. Real stories from real people, they’re an endless source of inspiration. We want to nurture this talent and share the best content with our global audience.

So whether you’ve just started out or you’re a seasoned pro, you might just be what Lonely Planet Pathfinders is looking for.

Criteria:
A creative, engaging and regularly updated original written and/or photo blog on the topic of travel and/or adventure. Must be predominately original pieces rather than relying on reviews and/or guest posts.

Prize:
A 90 minute face to face with a Lonely Planet Destination Editor at their London HQ, who will give feedback on 2 previous articles and advise on how to succeed as a travel writer. The winner will also receive a copy of The Place to Be.

The Lonely Planet Pathfinders Travel Blog of the Year will be administered by Lonely Planet - the Lonely Planet team will review all submissions and decide on the winner independently.
